I know, right? The huge reverb in the room mixed with the compression on the video camera mic makes for a pretty cool sound though…

Sick. So I’m kinda stuck in a rut right now trying to decide whether I want to build a maple or an acrylic kit.
Regardless, I’ve heard that you have to pick completely different heads than you otherwise would to get the right sound for acrylic drums. Has this been the case with you and your amber acrylic beauties?
And how would you describe the tonal differences between acrylic and maple? Just curious….
